What a treat to hear Dr. Ibram X. Kendi speak in uptown Charlotte twice today, once at the No Kings 3 rally and protest before the march, and again at the Carolina Theatre for a special facilitated conversation.
His latest book is “Chain of Ideas: The Origins of the Authoritarian Age.” It highlights how the “Great Replacement Theory” is the malicious lie being used by authoritarians around the world, including our current chief executive, to promote a culture of fear of immigrants, suppress voting, suspend constitutional rights, and more.
